Description: A brand of gourmet ice cream needed an identity and packaging that would compete with its high end competitors. My task was to come up with a logo and the first four flavors the company would release.

Sevenfold Skateboards

Description: While working as the marketing director for Sevenfold Skateboards i have contributed to many of the designs to insure the brands image and my art direction is conveyed properly.
I designed the companies new identity to correlate with its message, the previous logo had asian elements to it that fought with the brands foundation which happens to be built on that their product is made in america. With that said i designed a logo that had more strength behind it,the design is reminiscent of logo's from the 50's when brands were timeless and had to be trusted. This is exactly what Sevenfold is; skateboards by skateboarders for skateboarders
In Fall of 2009 I wanted to push the companies new identity forward with a campaign, we decided to go with a baseball theme, because "lets face it there isn't anything that's more american than baseball." I really pushed this campaign with a set of wheels, two shirts, a board series, and I even lay ed out all of our advertisements like old baseball cards.

Death Traitors X Sevenfold Collab

Description: A collaboration of two companies I work with, the design looks to Sevenfold by paying tribute to the Freemasons while still maintaining the look and feel of Death Traitors. The limited edition was hand numbered and individiually packaged with a set of 54mm wheels and a t-shirt. The series was limited too 100 and was Designed and Directed by Tyler Mate, Alex Heir, Chris Opilla and myself.

Description: A selected project from a growing San Franciso music promoter I work with, the task was to design a poster that would project the image of the popular group that was playing, the design also had to be able to be conveyed in many sizes. This is the color ad that ran in San Francisco's Guardian paper along with two of the web banners that were run on Thrasher Magazines website.

Roughneck Hardware

Description: Roughneck Hardware is a skateboard hardware company out of San Francisco, California. They are skateboarding's #1 hardware company and are known for being more like a family or a gang which is why they have one of the most diverse teams in the business.
RNCK is also know for their Annual BART Tour; an all day event were everyone hops on SF's Bay Area Rail Transit and travels to spots and parks all over the bay area. At each stop there is a product toss or best trick contest, no entry fees or requirements. The idea is that the group gets larger after each stop, but it also makes sure that each park and its kids get some love, weather it be some stickers or a pair of shoes everyone has a good time. At the end of every tour there is typically the main event and a free BBQ, at the tail end of the sixth annual tour it started to rain. Because RNCK prides itself on being a name you can trust the Roughneck Rain Check was put together and held the following weekend!

Description: Selected pages from a series of handcrafter books ive been working on. Each books pages are made up of polaroids that are sewn together in an accordian fashion and slid into a handmade cover and slipcase. In the end there will be three books each telling the same story from a differnet PERSPECTIVE. These pages are from the first book, the hardest part was to capture urban photos with know one in them. The colofon reads,"to truley grasp the message you must first start with the perspective that is the hardest to understand."
